Familiarize yourself with alternative cooking techniques through University of Hawaii Maui College’s EdVenture Food First Institute this Saturday. Green Chef Renee Loux and Maui Culinary Academy’s Chris Spree will teach the three-part series highlighting vegetarian, gluten-free, vegan and raw food practices. This Friday, Level 1 is open to individuals and professionals looking to broaden their knowledge. Students will learn recipes, protocol and adaptation techniques amongst other things.
